Bayer Consumer Care AG supports talent management as part of the Bayer Group-wide policy to support the professional and personal development of employees.

To help employees make better use of professional opportunities and actively shape their personal development within the company, a Bayer Global Internal Job Board exists, giving a transparent overview of the internal employment market and enabling those qualified to apply directly for positions that interest them.

An annual Development Dialogue take place between employees and their line managers, providing a link between feedback, based on the present situation, and long-term career planning. Employees discuss their strengths and development needs, career expectations and aspirations with the objective of agreeing on a personal development plan.

To strengthen the Leadership component of Bayer’s LIFE Values and promote performance orientation, a training program is in place to support managers to regularly give their employees constructive feedback on their work and conduct. By establishing a feedback culture which promotes individual strengths and addresses existing deficits, employees’ personal and professional development will be enhanced in the long term.
