An annual Development Dialogue take place between employees and their line managers, providing a link between feedback, based on the present situation, and long-term career planning. Employees discuss their strengths and development needs, career expectations and aspirations with the objective of agreeing on a personal development plan.
To strengthen the Leadership component of Bayer’s LIFE Values and promote performance orientation, a training program is in place to support managers to regularly give their employees constructive feedback on their work and conduct. By establishing a feedback culture which promotes individual strengths and addresses existing deficits, employees’ personal and professional development will be enhanced in the long term.
